I just got the Gator Doyle board earlier this week and have taken it out a couple of times. While I am just getting into wakeskating I can tell it's a lot different than the Scape I had been riding previously. The Doyle is much more slippery on the water and being a little smaller, it gets away from me more on w2w but overall I it seems to be a very solid board and weighted well. (It's actually a tad heavier than the Cassette 4-trac - I compared both side by side in my local shop) While I am still adjusting to it, I think I like it and am going to have a good time with it. For comparison and just to have a different style board I recently ordered a LF Control 43" and it should be here Tuesday. The characteristics of each board should really show when used the same day. I'll let you all know how it goes.

It came with some pretty small ones (~.6") and those are on. Are there better ones out there? Or are you just recommending I have them on?

BigPopper81,

Just wondering... What Cassette 4 trac are you talking about? Was it one they had for sale?

They had a 40" and 42" there. The 42" had foam and 40" had grip tape.

They don't have a website and I think the foam was put on at the store.
