Any one riden the Doyle or impalla. My oak is starting to crack every where and only has about another month or two left on it. so im gonna need a skate and i was thinking something not wood and cheaper than an integ. and the doyle and impalla look pretty sick, all they need is some grip tape.

Anything helps thanks guys.

Peace.

I rode the Doyle. I liked it, it felt like a composite version of my old '02 Cassette Projector. Only thing I didn't like was the foam top, too sticky, but that's just preference.

if you're really used to wood decks i dont' know if you'll be able to ride a composite. i rode the GB Graffiti for over a year, ordered the Impala thinking it would be heavy enough and it just doesn't stick on landings like a wood deck does, ya know? it's like too light and squirrely in my opinion, i think thats just how all composite decks are though. it doesnt really perform badly, just doesn't feel as solid or in control as a wood deck.

no i've switched between composite and wood so im not really used to one or the other. their kind of the same to me in a way. (if u know what i meen) i'm really just looking for a deck thats not going to break on me after a few months, max a year. i've gone through 4 skates in a little over a year and a half of wakeskating.

Omen Cool Laughing

jk. I haven't ridden either of those skates but i really want to try them. Is there any way you can demo these skates? That would be your best bet.

i just bought the impala like 2 weeks ago , rode it twice and hated it, i just dont like composite boards, to slick on rails and on the water couldnt stick alot of landings, but as for lasting wise the board looked good

yeah 280 plus shipping, which I am guessing would be roughly the same as the shipping for an integ...

Somebody on wakeworld was selling a doyle for $150 shipped in like new condition. That board is going to last especially if you ride rails alot. I think mine does more damage to my rail than the rail does to my board. It pops really good and the foam is very sticky, makes shoves easy, I like it alot. It is small, so if you are much over 165 lbs it might not be for you unless you like small boards.
