I noticed a lot of people on here have crazy, funny or almost unpronouncable(sp) names. i went with the traditional real name,(mainly cuz i was too lazy to think of anything else) but was just wondering where you guys got your names from. for instance che blanc, ripava82, yabu, holmespika, electricsnow just to name a few. another thing, whats the deal with putting a whole bunch of random numbers after your name? seems weird to me.

just so you know, I'm not trying to offend anyone with this thread, the names i said above are just examples of my question. I'm just wondering if your names are like nicknames or did you think about them when you were registering.

my first screen name on here " cassette315" came from cassette wakeskates

my second " DoubleDown05" came from a wakeboard poster called DoubleDown with a wakeboarder hitting a double up

and my New one " SoFloSkater" i came up with, means South Florida wakeSkater

so then i came up with the ghey name ripava82 which comes from rip, avalanche (my boat) and 82 is my football number Very Happy

Mine is super old, and it just came from a time where I was really into snowboarding (I still am, but for whatever reason, it meant something a little different back then) and the electric visual brand. 1+1=2, so electric+snow=electricsnow. Plus I like the word electric. PLUS!

I tryed to put my first name and last initial, which would have been "derekd"... but for some reason I left out the "k" so it ended up "dered" and I was to lazy to change it... oh well...
