My review of In Its Travels

Personally I liked this one a lot. I wasn't digging the music selection so much, but that didn't matter to me. It really reminded me of a skateboard video which I think is awesome. A lot of different spots in it so you're never looking at the same place the entire video. I think they showed a lot of people where skating can go with the winch, urban wakeskating is off the hook and its good to get it out to the people, we needed that. The Jim Taylor dedication was classic, done very well. One of my favorite things about it is that it isn't over edited. A lot of videos are WAY overdone, this video was not. I think the title of this video says it all,
"A progessive wakeskate video."

thanks fellas, thatll be my next movie. i hate over editing, Welcome was waaayyy overdone. whenever u wanted to watch a trick it was all weird.

i own in its travels and it was better then every other wakeskating movie ive seen and ive seen them all. It wasnt a short half n hour film, it was all riding no bulljive talking about other stuff. the bonus footage was long enough to be its own movie. I personally loved the music especially kyle hyams part where it was all quite and relaxed then got crazy. kyle waltonis the craziest mofo ever and is my new fav. rider they only showed 2 tricks throughout the whole movie twice, tim kovavich's w2w 0ff axis 360 and nick taylors varial flip? anyway thats my reveiw

yeah, i got this dvd last week. i thought the riding was filmed sick with the close ups behind the boat. i really expected more winching. suprised there was only like 4 or 5 drops. alot of filler footy too. i actually liked most of the music. especially bear Vs. shark. as for hansen Vs. taylor, hansen had more footage. it was basically all footage we've seen before from those two. i like nicks style alot better.
kyle walton is traveling/filming for the next vid, wich should be mainly winching.
still a great video. neck and neck with volume 2 imo.

i just finished watching it and it was pretty damn good. everything i expected and more. kyle waltons ts w2w 3 shuv was Crazy Eyes

. i think nick and reed should have had their own parts because i dont think nick was portrayed in the right way as far as riding goes. he should have had some lines to show his consistancy. if i didnt know of nick or reed and just watched that part and had to decide a winner i'd say reed. but if they were to go head to head i'd put my MONEY on nick. crazy stuff went down at metro west, justin scott's bs 540 big, but no hardflips? its the best wakeskate video out there and its definately a must have for every wakeskater.

is it good quality of the filming like in asterisk or does it feel like a homevideo like Fill in the blanks?
Is it filmed only with DV camera?

I love this vid, the music was good. I loved the Iron Maiden intro, JT's song, Walton's song was sick. The Clint Tompkins song was awesome and the Nick vs Reed song was straight up shizzle to ride to. How about Kyle walton though, bringing it together with a w2w front big grab or whatever that was that nobody had seen before and the big spin off metro Rolling Eyes

CT's v-flip off metro. It was awesome, I liked the pace, a must have for any wakeskater!

This is definitely tied for second with Volume 2 (Sfumato = #1) as far as wakeskating goes.

I wish I would've gotten to film with them for longer, but I'm stoked as hell that I got what I did. Grats to Kyle and Josh for making such a sick video.
