A binding-less wakeboard must be a time killer between wakeboard sets... it couldn’t actually be its own sport _________________ No Falls - No Balls |

He might of just put that for people looking at saying "what the hell is wakeskating" and then they see a no binding wakeboard and say "oh right I know what wakeboarding it is". |

I don't have the catalog in front of me, but hyperlite might have had that first shot in their catalog for that year. I remember people being confused because they described the item like it was a wooden concave.
Also, wakeskating didn't always have a name (everyone I've talked to gives credit to josh smith for inventing the name "wakeskating") and before that it was called strapless wakeboarding or bindingless wakeboarding. For some, maybe it's hard to evolve beyond that, and maybe it's a way to get the uninformed to look at the auction listing. But again...IT'S EBAY.
so, yeah, I agree with you, freerider4. I would share my red vines with you if I could. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
