I think this Finals is gonna be awesome, basically cause I'm a huge Mavs fan and they're gonna dominate. Anybody else follow the NBA or is a Mavs or Heat fans? I'm callin Mavs in 5.

During the regular season the Mavs dominated both games.

The mavs beat the Heat by like 13 and 36 in the games they played this season, and the Heat Havent't beat the Mavs since '04 and they only won that game by 1. The Mavs can stop Shaq because they have 3 bigs they can just rotate in and out and foul him, because he can't shoot freethrows. And who's gonna guard Dirk? Mavs are gonna dominate.

dirtyohioriver22, homez, a.townskates, it's too bad you dont work for FoxSports, ESPN, TNT or anyone else that covers basketball. that way someone on tv would have taken the heat to win the series. instead i have seen about 20 people take the mavs and 0 take the heat. thanks for winning the series against detroit though, i think they would have matched up better and against you we have homecourt.

I hate the Mavs... so I guess I'm rooting for the Heat in this one...

Matchups against Dallas are tough, which is why the Spurs (my team) lost.
Most teams have to completely change their style of play against them, and it is difficult to adapt and still put points on the board.
You can't stop Dirk, you just have to contain everyone else on the Mavs, which is not an easy task to do.
Miami has to play their game on offense, and hope their role players hit some big shots if they want to win.

TTUFAN24, well maybe but name one player on the team that can stop shaq besides dirk and who can stop dwayne wade... no body so they got to chance

homez, dirk won't ever guard shaq. Diop and Dampier will. And Josh Howard can shut down D-wayde. Now name one player that can stop Dirk. Thats right there's not one. Dirk's gonna do whatever he wants to and get whatever shot he wants. Dallas has 3 bigs they can rotate in and out on shaq and just hack him. he cant shoot free throws worth shizzle anyways. like i said MAVS in 4-5.

marshk344, they will put morning on dirk and he aint gonna get a shot off and dirk cant get 3s all that good how many points he get in the last game like 8 or whatever i think heat will win at game 6

homez, im pretty sure he had about 27 last game, and the game before that he dropped 50! Alonzo Mourning can't guard dirk at all, he's old. I'd say Haslem would miam's best bet. Oh yea and dirk cant get three's that good? You're right, he only won the NBA Three Point Competition this year. Mavs in 4-5.

ok well dirk is good im not gonna lie mavs r one of my favorite teams but still the only good players on the mavs are dirk and jason terry, but i just dont think the mavs will come away the with finals trophey this year...

I still think the mavs have no one even close 2 being able to guard shaq..and u know d. wade is going to be strong...but if dirk and jterry play good..they might have a chance 2 push it 2 a game 5..haha n/mind HEAT-N-4..I got 5 on it.
