Hey my name is Erin and I live on lake sinclair in Ga , I have been wakeboardin for 2 years now . On weekends i ride behind nice boats , and on the weekdays i wakeboard behind my boat with no tower ballast or anything because my dad is a skier or i use the Pwc . So I decided Im gonna start wakeskating on weekdays ! And i have a few Questions
can I learn tricks behind my PWC ?
and what kinda board should i get ?
can i use my rope ?
and any certian rope length ?
and anything else i need to know ?
THANK YOU ! Very Happy

Hey! Im glad i see another girl postin here... I just started also... I cant help you with most of your questions, except that you can use your rope...
I bought a closeout wakeskate to get me started.. it was an 05 Cassette and I really like it.. even though i dont know much about wakeskates!
I started without shoes, but go with shoes, just use some old shoes you dont care about... I find it gives me more security because I think the falls wont hurt as much or it wont hurt if the board hits me!

a.townskates, they're pretty expensive for a beginner.

If you do it everyday of the week I'd recomend investing some money in a nice board. You will be glad you did.

I really dont know much about which wakeskate is good and which one is bad, so I cant really help you. I would love to have girls' wakeskate though...

If you are just starting out, i would buy the cheapest wakeskate i can find thats worth the money. I found an 05 Cassette for $45 + shipping on buywake.com. I ve had no problems, dont know if its the best, but im certain its not the worst. Its easy for me to try to maneuver in that one, unlike the HL Byerly, which is a lot more expensive and in which i couldnt even TRY to ollie.

It doesnt matter which skate you get, its gonna be lots of fun anyway!!!
