I haven't made many posts these days... To be honest this site has disgusted me in a lot of ways. What happened to the stoke and the fun of just riding???

I have been on this site for some time now, a few of you know me personally most of you don't. Since I have been coming on this site I have noticed a large percentage of people that seem to care way too much about the industry drama, what company is going under or god forbid who switched to what company and why. We all have our own opinions and views on what's going on in the inside . But seriously, does it really matter to you? Who cares what board you ride, how good you are. NONE of this crap really matters. Leave the industry drama to the people that are IN the industry. Don't worry about the random nonsense and rumors.

I promise everyone that NONE of these things will directly effect or alter your life.

Did Aaron and Danny's switch to LF effect your life in any way? Does wakeskating suck now because they ride for a different company? Simply NO. And if those two guys doing what they have to do as athletes makes you dislike wakeskating then sell your board and quit riding, nobody likes a poser.

YOU ARE NOT THE BOARD YOU RIDE OR THE COMPANY YOU RIDE FOR!

What I think the majority of you still forget is that YOU are wakeskating, not the pro's, not the companies. Ultimately each and every one of you will decide the direction of the sport, what companies survive and what ones don't. Support what you believe in but most of all go out and just have FUN!

When it comes down to it we all ride for the same reasons... wakeskating is FUN. You want to make a difference or have a revolution? Then call some friends go build a gap, a rail, get a winch and go destroy that fountain you wanted to session, get a 4 wheeler a lawnmower I don't care! Go out and have FUN! Grab someone from school or work and teach them to wakeskate, show people how much fun it is and why you do it. Spread the love!

NON of u can possibly Every effect any company , if u dont ride for them
and if u do, the its ur choice who u ride for.

I really liked what has been said here...and I had a great time riding today!! I have to really agree with the whole who cares what you ride or who cares if you are awesome or not because I am not that awesome at wakeskating, but everytime i'm out, I have fun and that makes me happy. wakeskating makes me happy! Very Happy

This is truly a great sport to be involved in and is progressing every time any one steps on a deck. But is there a time when a sport can not progress? My friend told me that he thinks snowboarding will end. He says and I quote “how many times can one spin off a jump or rail, do the tricks ever stop?” This is bulljive; I believe that any board sport will stay alive because of style. If you’re riding across water, snow, concrete or sand each person that picks up a plank of wood and rides it will have there own personal style. So teach some one and observe the styles of the world and ride with true passion and steeze.

Tweak till the sun comes up.

On similar note, I haven't been able to land a w2w ollie north yet... I crash and it hurts sometimes. But I have fun working on them and I still have a smile ear to ear Very Happy

Scotty B, You are exactly right... Look at how many years people have been skateboarding for. There is the perfect example, Plus there is always room to take the tricks you have bigger!
