alright we're looking at getting a new boat and i'm looking for some input.

our first pick so far is a new tahoe q4. without a waketower. it's 190hp, topping out at around 52mph. i have no idea what this thing would be like in the water.

so my first few questions about the first pick is:
1. wakesize, how good will it be?
2. will it be good for wakeskating?
3. what about strapping?

now our next pick is the one i like a lot. it's a 2002 supra comp. 320hp, waketower, bimini top, etc.

here it is:

i have the same questions for it, wake size, is it good for wakeskating and strapping?

and if anyone has any other good boats they could show me just post them. it should be around the 20-30k range. thanks.

any help would be appreciated because i have no idea what i'm doing when it comes to wakeboarding boats. thanks.

that might be possible with the supra but the dealer of the tahoe wouldn't go for it.

skimboarder, look at moombas mobius...my friend has an 01' and that thing is great...it gets amazing gas(7 gallons for a whole day of riding) and with the extra sacs he has it puts out a really nice wake...if you check out my pics in the sequence shot thread thats the wake w/ out the stock tanks filled(only the extra sacs were filled) definatly look at one of those

lake weir ocala FL, agreed I've ridden behind one a couple times.

Someone on the inside(I realize that sounds ghey) has told me the only difference between Supra and Moomba bells and whistles not wake size. Basically if you want metal cupholders go with a Supra but other than that, Moomba is a great wakeboat at a cheap price.

Supra hands down.

No question, Better wake, less depreciation per year vs a run about I/O. Easier maintenance, better options.

Not even close, put some sacs in that Tahoe and it will struggle to even plane out.

Also IMO 210>220. The 210 hull will always be legendary just like the SV23 hull (V-ride) and 205V hull. (Current X-1) The 220 is great if you need the extra room, but the wake just doesn't have the same kick.

Also, you might tell that Tahoe dealership that you don't feel comfortable shelling out X amount of dollars over something you can't test ride behind. Quite frankly that's ridiculous. No Demo no purchase.
