The South Florida Wakeboarding Association (SFWA) is excited to announce the “Wake –n- Skate” wakeboarding/wakeskating rail jam event to be held on June 21st and 22nd, 2008 at Okeeheelee Park, 7715 Forest Hill Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33413.

First Prize in both the Pro Wakeboard and Wakeskate divisions will be $750 with product awarded to second and third place. First Prize in both the Amatuer Wakeboard and Wakeskate divisions will be $250 with product awarded to second and third place. Entry into all catergories will be $75 per rider.

The event is designed to give amateur and professional wakeboarders/wakeskaters in South Florida the opportunity to compete against other like competitors on a series of rails designed to test both their skills and style. The SFWA is dedicated to make this an event that will attract both hard-core wake enthusiasts and the casual observers. It will be a two-day event starting on both days at 10 a.m. and lasting until roughly 6 p.m.

For more information/details on the event or to register, please visit www.sfwake.com . Space is limited. Don't miss out.

It is at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm. On Forest Hill near the turnpike. A beautiful setup, it is really going to be sick.

Guys and Girls,

Quick update on the event. We were able to pick up a few new sponsors for the event and because of that we have been able to adjust the registration/entry costs. Prizes are still the same but now entry fees are as follows:

Pro-Wakeboard $60
Pro-Wakeskate $60
Am-Wakeboard $40
Am-Wakeskate $40

For those already registered the difference will be refunded. Spaces are limited and filling fast so don't wait, June 21 and 22nd are right around the corner.

Visit www.sfwake.com for more info.

what membership fee are you talking about?? if its the 17$ for the wwa that is already included in the entry fee. and you dont need to become a member of the sfwa to enter the contest if thats the other fee you were maybe talking about. i talked to the head of the sfwa yesterday and he told me all that

the rail that is permanently in the water over at okeeheelee is awsome, so much fun!!
