man after all this talak that happens everyday about how all these companies suk really pisses me off. like the whole thing with cassette, i love cassette and i have always ridden there boards, but people now dont like them cuz of what they did to chase.(i thot that was very not vcool for the sport. also how people are tlakin shizzle about hyperlite because theyre boards are so called wakeboards. mutiny seems to b repectible.theres the talk how 484 and lf have the same boards as cassette cuz they bought or copied.

well after that what is a buyer who is down for a good cleen fun cause to do?
1 make his own
takes time and were lazy
2 just go buy a board he doesnt respect.
idont think so

so i was wondering, and i wish there was a company likebig o boardsports use to be like. a company that sells blank wakeskates, but have concave ones flat ones and even compositr ones. but with blank graphics. this would be so cool . poeple could ride those boards till theyre sponsored.

then there would be no hard decisions broken hearts or so much smack talkin on companies cuz if you had a problem with a comp then you could just get a blank

Wake-till...
Yeah!! That's a good idea but it's not new.
There is (or was) a company selling blank boards (wakeboards & wakeskates).
But I cannot remember its name or website address. Rolling Eyes

i own a cassette and love the board.

However, my own personal solution:

My next board will be a Munity.

There's a reason why blank decks work in the skateboard market, it's because they are all somewhat near the same shape, (There still are different variances between deck, such as the rodney mullen saint deck.)

However, wakeskating is too new for that to happen. Each company has something different to offer (except for 484 and liquid force). Cassette is definitely pushing that 4-trac design. Kampus has experimented with shapes and now a new process. Mutiny, different cores and still their own shapes. Then you got other various wakeboard related companies all with their own shapes and designs. Anyone can look at all these companies boards and immediately tell theres a difference between each one. That's not the same with Skateboard decks since from a beginner's perspective they all look the same (and even work the same for them).

How would someone come in with a blank deck? It's going to cost just as much as any other deck. If the shape is too similar to another companies there will be more "drama." We're going to have to wait a while until that happens, and the best way to wait is to support the companies that push designs and are proud of their OWN ideas.

The other problem with wakeskate vs skateboard is the volume. You can sell a ton of skateboard decks vs wakeskates.

That's exactly the problem: the more you can sell, the more you can reduce the price and the margin. But the wakeskate market is so small...
