The Wakeskate Tour

It seems maybe the funds that went towards the spring training trip could have been used towards this years tour. I personally think it was great to reward the top riders in the tour with something besides an awesome hand made trophy and have no idea how that trip was funded or anything so I may be wayyyyy of but was just thinking about it. On a side note I can't wait for the video to drop tomorrow. I can only imagine how many Exclamation

we're dropped and we get to check out.

I think the tour has been rad and It's totally easy to watch the riding and forget its a contest. But the bright side of the spring training thing is it may have done more, progression wise, for wakeskating and those riders, as opposed to dudes riding "in heats and brackets" (lifting that from nick's poster).

electricsnow I agree. The progression was probably off the charts with that group of guys secluded on one of the best wakeskating spots on this marble we call earth. It would still be nice to have a chance to see some up and comers have their opportunity to shoot it out with the big boys at 4-5 different stops around the country and to watch various setups and whatnot, even though it usually is the seasoned pros that take home the trophies.

Sorry I forgot to use the sarcasm font on my last post. I really hope the tour comes back strong next year. I'll definitely do my part to help make it happen.

But no, wakesurfing is not cool. Unless you want to take me wakesurfing, in which case, let's go.
