This is really blowing my mind that all of you guys are bitching about this contest.

A company is putting on a contest that pushes people to get up, build a rail if you don't have one and land something unique within the guidelines provided. The prize money is more than anyone could dream of and if you don't win... you got a new rail/setup and a great day with some homies riding. Old footage should not be used, because its old!

Tige is doing it right by bribing wakeskaters to get out there and land some tricks on some fresh built rails.

I think it was just some misunderstandings up front. If you hear that Tige is doing a Best Rail Trick contest and dont read up on it, it sounds as though any pull method should work.

It's not until the day of the contest that it became apparent that it had to be towed with a boat/pwc and be fresh footage.

This is one of those things that a month ago when this contest was coming out, Tige should have had Yan or Dieter talk about it for the wakeskating community so any and all questions would have been taking care of.

Again, their heart and wallets are in the right place, things just need to be fine tuned. No one really hits rails with a boat... unless you are a wakeboarder in a PWT event.

no one hated on the contest, i think its awesome, except the fact there is no am/pro wakeskate

Steven M, for sure , having diets (their griptape associate) come and pump it up would have been cool

Yep I just entered the cable contest with a varial heel boardslide from Nick's place! Definitely another one that I was saving for my video part, but I figured I should try this contest too. My full part should be coming out in the next couple days though! Finally, haha
