If everyone could keep a lookout for my winch. It was stolen out of the hitch of my buddies car. He had just gotten backed into and it messed up the frame pretty bad but someone still stole it.
There was a new engine on it, about 5 days old, and new fair lead roller on the front. Had a new brand spool from about 6 years ago and coated yellow line that was pretty haggard.
These are pictures before someone rear ended us.

It'll be hard to miss that winch if it's spotted. For sure going to keep a look out.

More than likely it was stolen for the motor only. They will probably discard the rest of it somewhere and use the motor for what ever. Need to invest in a hitch lock! I think they're only like $20 at walmart.

This sucks. I've got the same winch and adding a hitch lock alows me to rest easy on trips where my winch is out in a hotel parking lot. I hope you find it man!
