I have hope he will come through. Just as an outsider, my impression is he's a busy dude...and very few things come out on time in wakeskating.

The teaser went from saying July and is now back to saying Spring '12. They also removed the preorder icon on the website. So I have a gut feeling they won't be sending this out or it's going to be ridiculously long wait at this point. Almost wish I could just get a refund on my money as they're sitting on it for almost a year with zero feedback if/when they'll ever ship product. Checking the site, there's no contact information so it's not like I could attempt to get a refund at this point anyway. They might not have made a million on this but they sure as hell are pure profit... Makes my signature line that much more true.

Toxis, I completely agree. They've handled this situation wrong from day one. Detz messages me on fb the other day saying they were still filming and that it should shipping any day now....(not really sure how that works though). I'd much rather have a movie than my money back but feel like they've messed up the possibility of them doing a preorder again on another movie in the future with their lack of communication and bs they've fed the couple times they actually communicated (free shirts for Christmas, it's now August 2012, december, spring, July release, it's now August, and etc.). Not sure what to believe from these guys. I would understand if hey were doing something cool like the almost heros tour.

I posted that on the front page also. I'm trying to get more info, like if that's just when vids will be sent out, or if that's a digital release, if there will be a premiere, etc. Hopefully I'll hear something.

I think everyone will change their minds once this is finally released. Sure he has put off the release for who knows how long and may or may not have communicated with anyone, but you planned on waiting when you "pre-ordered" this anyway, right??? I have always been a huge believer in having patience, especially when someone is working their ass off to produce something that they put their whole soul into, regardless of how he handled previous situations. I am sure that the $20 or however much he charges is not drastically killing your bank account...

While I am waiting for the download I'd like to point out (quite sarcastically, sort of) that one of the film's sponsors is GoPro. Has anyone followed the Wifi Bacpac? First it was to be out in February. Then March, then April, then May, and finally in June was it actually released. They forget to mention the fact that the app isn't quite ready yet but we were assured it would be out in late July, early August. Late July came and then it was pushed back to late August. Now that it is August it is to be released sometime in the "Fall of 2012" and I wouldn't be surprised if the app they have been claiming as free will cost us additional money in our respective app stores.

If you want someone to beach at, do it at these big guys not a wakeskater who is doing this for his sport. I respect GoPro and stand behind the products but their constant delays and deadline changes are more frustrating coming from a large company than from a small group of guys doing a film part time.

Looks like my download is done now so hopefully I'll reply later with more stoke Very Happy
