whats the deal.. Should i try/learn them in/out? Flats.. foot placement? what goes thru your head before you throw it? where do you think your weight placement is? Flatten off or edge thru in out?
Drop some science on this equation peeps
I honestly havent really tried them much but.. The trick tip section of ws.com is long over due some trick tip activity. INPUT PEOPLE plz. & thnx
i have been working on varial heels also..
i place me front foot where the convace of the nose starts and my back foot all the way back and kinda let me heel hang off the board. its really wierd to edge like this but it has helped with the flip of the trick fsure
I learned them I/O first, that's what I'd recommend. It gives you a feel for how the trick should be thrown, foot placement, ect.
I put my front foot about 3/4 of the way up the board, with just a bit of my toe hanging off. For I/O put on a mellow edge, pop the board in a big front shuv, and slide your foot off the front. Try a few straight heelflips first to get the feel for how your foot should be interacting with the board.
Here's a clip of one of the first flats ones that I did that made me smile.
Thanks for all the input guys, im sure this thread wil inspire some people to give them a go. I just got back in town from Toe Jam and am gonna try some of them tomorrow behind ski.
Thanks for the mellow edge tip The Kid im sure it that will wake some heartache out of the equation. Nice meeting u the other day btw
Jimmy Carlin is a nut haha.. U can't forget this one. Man He kills it
do you really hang your heel off that far like you would on a skateboard? seems really unstable on a wakeskate _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com
