We just got the new 40 inch wood concave. These things look sick and I'm wondering if anyone ridden one yet. I get the board at a discount and I'm thinking about buying it to try out for a set or 2 and if I don't like it I can sell it on here for $180 bucks instead of $250. Any input? How do these things pop?

your shop won't let you ride it and then sell it as a demo?

i mean george daniels rides one pretty well, but i think it might just be his mad skills. i doubt you'll hate it. never know unless you try.

i would buy it, worse comes to worse you trade it for something you know you want to ride or sell it for 190

the concave in the center reminds me of that of a Vinyl, and the kicktails are pretty mellow. And there's a pretty legit channel down the center.

Just felt that board and the Urso last night. I reeeally want to try that Urso.

zip, Pretty big flat spot in the center, then a mellow sort of exponential curve up to the peak of the concave.. if that makes sense. The kicktails are pretty standard. Just a real mellow transition to a medium height kick.

i loved the older byerly grenade/2.0, but i wanted a little more kicktail. then the legacy came out and was not anything near what the 2.0 was. sucks they had to wait so long to get this board on the market.

416, the concave on the revival is still a lot more steep. But yeah I suppose the same general idea. Just a lot more mellow.

concave is really similar to the vinyl. channels make it a bit less skaty (sp?) but still a sick board. pops well

plys aren't separating just my bad skills as a photographer. it is a little darker wood there. the channel isn't that extreme, tracks well. the release is a bit later than most skates i have ridden though
