It gets shut off today, as many people may already know. I was playing last night, and early this morning.

I wonder what this new Halo that is going to come out is gunna be like? Any word?

There will be a beta opened up on May 3rd, and the release date is sometime near the holidays.

I see, im still a halo 1 fan... damn i loved that pistol.... I heard that new halo will re-introduce the pistol...... sucks that u say it looks awful Sad

It just looks a lot like Halo 3 to me. I also had high hopes for that game, so I figure I won't give this game much of a chance and see how it works for me.

gporter, wow major fail by xbox live....hopefully there are making halo 2 non compatible and Halo 1 compatible ya!

Halo 1 is by far the most equal/strategic FPS out there

MAN I MISS SYSTEM LINKING!

We used to get 4 xbox's a router thing and 16 ppl in early highschool and my buddy had the whole upstairs to his place to himself so we had 2 rooms with a projetor screen and a few other TV's and we played like 8v8 with Halo 1, god that was so good. Blood Gultch capture the flag was INTENSE. Everything in society is pretty much becoming more of a solitary thing. Video games used to be something you could enjoy with a group, like super smash bros and mario car.t Now most people get home and stay on Call of Duty online talking to strangers for hours upon Hours. Those System Link Parties we had were so freakin fun.... I wish i knew enough people with standard xbox's to have another one.... Sad

Oh and it def goes:

Halo 1 > Halo 3 but Halo 3 > Halo 2

Halo 2 was just so freakin unbalanced. And the maps were no fun. Halo 3 has some great maps and with all the new patches and what not they really turned it into a fun game.

Although this is all coming from a guy who does not even own an xbox let alone a TV.

On another note for jetpacks in halo. Does this mean as a sniper, you can now fly across the map and join in on teabagging fun?

GnarShredd, I donno how accurate that would be. The one thing that I like that they are planning on implementing for the new Halo is the need for "pop shot accuracy" Pretty much making it far more realistic. If you played any Rainbow 6 games you will know that you pretty much gotta pop shots to get an accurate bullet off. No more holding the trigger down, this may bring a bit more skill to the game thankfully. So i can imagine jet packing and sniping would be quite difficult.
