My buddy Ben Mize and I have been throwing around the idea of throwing an all wakeskate contest down here in Houston. We would like to have a contest kind of like the hippodrome and have boat, ski and winch parts of the contest, also have pro and am divisions. Would this be a contest yall would be interested in and what would yall like to see at it? We have also got the go ahead from the owner of hwc to use his facility.

john271, great idea... i was actually thinking about this last night because GCWA is only going to have one competition this year and it is at the M2 lake. cliff always puts on great events at HWC and its almost always butter. what dates are you considering?

john271, yeah man it would be cool. keep us updated, sounds like a good time. the competition part doesnt really excite me as much as just a get together of riding does.
