when i get done with a-school i am going to purchase either a 2010 sea doo wake pro, because they look sick nasty. or a flat bottom jon boat and trick it out. what is everyone's opinion?

here is a link to the ski. http://www.sea-doo.com/en-US/watercraft/sport/wakepro/features.htm

how long have ya'lls sea doo's lasted? i was looking at some and their slogan is, "built to last 10 years." it kind of turned me off from the whole idea.

i don't know how you all ride behind skis. they just seems so jerky, inconsistent, and underpowered.

boat you get a bigger more consistent wake. you get to kick back and watch your broheem do work. ya know stretch out and have a drink or a snack, or maybe even fire up a few dogs on the barbie..............no competition in my opinion.

boats break down a lot too.

If you can afford the seadoo then go for it. I think they're better than a tricked out jon boat.

My Seadoo Wake has over 600 hours on it now and its an 05 I believe. Never had a problem with it one time. I do all the maintenance on it myself and I love ole' Bessie to death.

ski's are over priced. either get a 2 year old one or go with the john boat. boat is going to be more versatile. you don't have to sit like homo's on it and you can bring gear with you easier.

PoopSkater, Boats break quite a bit as well...If you own a "water craft" just get ready for it to break.

maintaining and gas in both are about the same..... the big diff is the price and the wake... i have a 15ft tri hull with a tower i made myself, i repainted it and I still only have 2000 in it...this thing has the best wake....jet-ski style in-outs and wake2wake..cant beat that......
