i've tried using a cleaning tape 2 or 3 times and i havent had any luck
i'm not sure if the heads are just really dirty, or if its some other type of problem...... i think if it's the heads than it might be because i'm not using the same brand of tapes as the old owner.....and if that's the case do you think using a cleaning tape again then switching tape brands would work?
your entire video head that writes on the tape is whats messed up and that is a good little penny to fix the previous owner deff had some high impact issues with the camera..
i'm pretty sure it was just dirty heads..........the previous owner used sony tapes and i tried using panasonic's when i got the camera, it seemed to work fine, then it started getting messed up
......that's because i switched tape brands and the tape gunk got mixed...... so now i'm back using sony tapes again and i usually get around 30 or 40 mins of no glitches then i need to change tapes
i think that if i got it professionally cleaned it would probably record normal for a whole tape _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com
