Did she go for the rail the second time to try and get "more free stuff?" I don't think so. I think she was trying to progress her riding, despite some serious wreckage that would have left most of us guys saying "I'm done for the day."

i agree with the fact if you want total equality between genders than the best riders should get the best sponsers easy as that. but i think genders can never be equal just because of physical/ mental reasons.
i beleive thats the flaw with feminists, they want equality in that they should be able to do whatever a man can ( which is good) but they think since there women they should be treated differently or better in man controlled sports or jobs. a little hypocritical. it is deffinetly a touchy subject i dont want to be looked at as some d!ck that think women are just for making food and looking pretty.

can anyone post some footage of pro girls riding... i would like to see where they are at in terms of progression ... the only footage i have really watched is a few wakeskate dvds... and whats her name destroying that kicky in slow mo lol

i think girls need to work on style more than anything
it seems theyre trying to land the next big trick
i dont think ive ever seen a girl with good style on a wakeskate
that stef tor kickflip got blown way out of proportion, it was mobbed and the rails of the skate were basicly skimming the water, no pop
the best style ive seen out of a girl is definitely jen g though

Completely agree.
I think it's funny how people are still dry humping the fact that a girl kickflipped and when some 15 year old kick gets on here and posts his footy he gets a high five.

I actually disagree on those comments about stef tor's kickflip and she should get some credit for what she accomplished. There are a lot of riders that have a little bit of mob to their kickflips...I think it's pretty rare to see a full on flick (no downward kicking) on a kickflip. Stef's rails also were not skimming the water.
To be fair, not every single male "professional" wakeskater has a perfect, smooth, or "proper" style, and not every trick that's in a video is popped at least a foot out of the water unless you're watching the nose. There are a number of male riders I don't really care to watch, regardless of whatever new flip trick they're throwing because I can't get into their riding. We can't act like guys have focused on STYLE and tricks, because a point of criticism from other, more established riders in wakeskating is that younger riders focused more on what new trick they could do, as opposed to how good it looked.

electricsnow, i totally agree how there are some men "pros" that i dont like to watch because of how they ride even if they are doing 3 flips and such. but i think that is another reason why there should be distinct AM and PRO status. Just because you have a sponsor and have every trick doesnt mean you are pro |

No disrespect, but these girls are far from professionals, they are just amateur wakeskaters with bewbs. Kickflip or 3 flip, I've yet to see a female rider throw down a consisent, solid line that represents a professional level of riding.
