junkee, you make a good point about bashing the top company and people need to formulate their own opinions, and i agree with you.

but this is a forum. people (newbs) come here for info on boards and all of that. fellow riders tell them what they like and why. this is how everything gets started.

also, too many people criticize companies even though they haven't rode any of their products....purely based on what someone else has to say, that is no good. or they ride one product from a company and bash not on the product, the whole company.

things just get passed on from what others say and people just think that. people need to formulate their own opinions based on good information.

colorless, that's right, but don't group everyone in the "hating companies for no reason" there's some (IE: Me) who have ridden their boards in comparison to other boards, and still don't like them.

Morphine, are you frickin' psychic? No sarcasm either. (I had to write an arguementive paper a week ago and just got it back today, and I got some points off for saying everyone and Americans.....just generalizing way too much.)

But yes, people, and I'd say lots (maybe generalizing again, but it seems like that from experience) do have little to no true information and are (or do) criticize companies.

i have riden hyps and i personally think its an ok board but compared to others it blows. i think i wouldnt be were i am now if i rode one

ive riden 4-tracs hyps lf kampus integ, the only one i didnt like were lf so hyperlites worked fine for me and im looking to buy the new karma so i have no problem with them.

The whole point I was trying to get at was that Wakeskating is a great sport and it don't matter what you ride as long as you like the board you are riding. I think all the companys out there make a good product and just because you don't like a board or a company does not mean it sucks it just mean that you don't like it. What works for you does not have to work for everyone. And lets face it, every company is in it to make money because if they did not make money none of the companys would be around.

like with cable riding u dont do surface or wake2wake so the edge and the shape of the tail, the way it pops and all that isnt as important behind a cable. your mainly hitting ramps and rails. i had to ride a hype caty at odub and i rode it fine but ive also riden it behind a boat and a ski and hated it. it sits to high in the water.

cable rider, how can u like a cassette and not a lf? up until 04 they were exactly the same and i bet u rode one that was the same.

i have no helmet so i cant hit any obstacles there yet but ive learned all my tricks on regular water, plus i kno people who ski and they will go in front of me and go back and forth and edge real hard, so thats as close to wakes.

Headhunter i rode a 04 and didnt like how the rocker was and it was one layer short because of the delam because that year they sucked, but i havent riden a 03 and before LF. Plus the LF was no concave, and i ony rode a 4-trac from cassette.
