I know we should all try to buy and ride industry supported gear but i cant Find a dope enough shoe to wear on the water. My buddy is an avid surfer and happened to pick up his surf mag and saw an ad for this shoe in this color way.

Globe Goods. In the close up the toes is mesh and the side is also mesh. I fell in love with the style as well.

So my question is...any ska8ers out there see these in person?

How well do globes hold up?

Thanks

Holy balls, I'm picking up a pair. I'm looking at my DVS Triumph Mesh shoes right now and those Globes look like they have about the same, if not more mesh.

I totally agree with you too. The style of the wakeskate shoes out there just don't appeal to me and these are extremely reasonable as well. Thanks a ton man!

If I didn't already love my DVS, these would be ordered.

The black/charcoal/horizon lite & the mid grey/lite are pretty sick!

I bet they would work great for Freestyle Walking!!!

i have those but in grey, they are awesome i have worn them for a whole season and they are still holding up fine, a little wear and tear but nothing that noticeable, they are really nice, those little tunnel looking things where the sole and the shoe meet are drainage for the inside of the shoe, they hold like no water, so i would recommend them

I talked to the people at Globe a while back about these. They dont have plans to market them in the wakeskate community, however they hope that we can figure out what they are for.
My only complaint about the design is that shoes with a lot of mesh on the sides lose lateral support for your foot. Think those all mesh DVS Dresdens.
But they do look really stylish!

I just got a pair of these and they seem like they will be nice. if they are no good they will make cool shoes to just wear around town.

thanks for posting about them.
