Anyone think there will be a legit wakeboard/wakeskate game? I dont't recall one since Shaun Murray's game?

there isnt a big enough market for it. games like skate. are so successful because there are sooooooo many skateboarders, while the case isnt the same for wakeskating

Cyclone268, bungie started out of a garage creating a game that wasn't in a very popular genre back then and look at them now, creating 3 halos

kornhouse, yes but halo appeals to the millions of "1337 n00bz"/gamer nerds out there in America, whereas wakeskating has a very small audience

in the boombox 2 extras theres a part where they say and i quote " we got some helicopter shots filming for scotts new game" i was so excited. nothing ever happened. i also saw something on the reef website around that time that one was coming out under scott byerly's name. still nothing happened Neutral

there is a game that came out for xbox i have it the Shaun Murray game;
its called Wakeboarding Unleashed-featuring Shaun Murray
but its kind of gay and unrealistic. and no wakeskaters
it has about 5 riders to chose from
the game was hard to find

it would be way sick to play a wakeskate or even wakeboard game on either ps3 or 360

yea they definnity need to make a new one; there are so many good riders that are completely left out..i think the sport is due another one. Every other sport has a new game coming out every year

skateonwater, X-Box pulled the plug on that Byerly game. And the movie you're thinking of is Blacklist, not Boombox 2. If I remember correctly, that whole trip was set up so Microsoft could shoot footy for the game...

EA is lame
some one in the sport or here just needs to hit the lottery or something and fund a new Wakeskate/board game. And throw all the old and new school riders in it

skateonwater- yep...you're right. In the helicopter extra section of Boombox Justin says at the beginning that Microsoft was getting footy for their upcoming Byerly game. I never even noticed that before to be honest, but then that bonus part is so damn cool and full of information so...

but theres snowmobiling games, i dont understand how many people snowmobile compared to wakeboard wakeskates, they should make a ski, trick, jump wakeboard and wakeskate, that might get a few more buys.

I was talking to a few guys about making a wakeskate game a couple weeks ago. I do games and would like a side game to work on.

I made a mountain boarding game about 3 years ago and it was pretty fun, no EA quality but still fun as shizzle. The big problem is finding artist (especially animators) that will help me out.

Cyclone268, a lot of people don't skateboard but buy THPS and Skate though.
