Tad,
I like the pic... LOL This is a far more appropriate way to release your built up aggression on the forum... You don't need to always be blasting people.
To be honest - I thought twice before posting our new winch on this forum because this forum is nearly always at each others throats. I posted it so fellow people who appreciate our sport of winching could sit back and admire this great looking winch Released built.

i know we're splitting hairs here, but winching is more of a means than a sport. i do think that there is definitely a subclass of folks who can be called winchers though _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be. the hive enslaves orphaned baby bees to work all the components inside the winch... its completely automatic... thats also where the name came from...

From what I understand the Hive has a hydraulic transmission..
It probably also doesnt help that it is built in Switzerland where they have like a 50% sales tax. I would assume that all the parts purchased and machined have some ridiculous tax rate that Neverride has to pay....
Thanks,

I'de imagine its Hydrostatic probably just a bad translation
Hydrostatic transmissions transmit all power hydraulically, using the components of hydraulic machinery. There is no solid coupling of the input and output. One half of the transmission is a hydraulic pump and the other half is a hydraulic motor, . Hydrostatic drive systems are used on excavators, lawn tractors, forklifts, winch drive systems, heavy lift equipment, agricultural machinery, etc. Eliminates "shift shock" -- makes for a smoother ride

bt371, you got spoiled thats for sure the hive is such a clean and sick winch. Its pretty hard for anyone to top them in quality or pull. But they do come with a big price tag thats for sure. I'm waiting to see what they have rumored to have in store for the next hive. _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

Chris Barcellos, and i dedicated my life to making a home-made beast that can rival zak's.....just so every time i winch now the set wont revolve on the driver......the hive is pretty much idioth proof....like unless you dont bring up the rpms and you pull the handle down you cant f-ck it up....so even miss south carolina could pull ya.... _________________ https://vimeo.com/moontowerco |
