I've been wakeboarding for a year and am pretty decent(I can hit everything at owc) My question is how much harder are rails on wakeskates. I don't skateboard so how hard is it to keep the board on your feet _________________ ow thats gonna hurt tomorrow |

i skateboard its alot easier to slide on a wakeskate because you have the rope to help you out _________________ HI |

yea and skating like if your on a slanted rail you start to fall backwards and nut yourself or break your tail bone on a wakeskate you have the rope and your going faster so its just like you hit it then its done skating its like balance balance balance done _________________ 407-212-7425 |

I think it is easier than skateboarding. You can get away with a lot more on a wakeskate and as others have metioned, the rope helps you out. It may be harder timing your ollie at first. |

Timing your ollie is much harder cuz your usually not goin 15-20 mph when you are skateboarding. |

i just got back from the miami wakeboard camp. it was really awesome hitting the rails for my first time. i didn't even touch them on a wakeboard, just the wakeskate. it was so much freakin fun. i've got some plans goin to make some on my lake already. it was also really cool seeing a couple spots from sfumato and stuff...wow...fun...no flatbars though just like ride onto rails and kickers and stuff |

backside? you mean backside board or backlip? im guessing you mean backlip/frontside (where your back is to the boat) practice in the flats. then get into a 5050 and turn your board a little more each time you hit it till its nothing. for the landing start to turn your board back before you leave the rail, so youre straight. |

I started doing surface 3's on the little picnic table rail thing at OWC. They aren't that hard, i got them second try. Its pretty much the same as doing it on the water as far as i could tell, just keep the handle at your hips and close to your body. You should be golden. Just try not to yank the handle super hard or anything or you will loop out. |
