I got a question for all of you out there. I have been working on a type of slide out in the flats and on the lip and I would have to say it is a bluntside. If any of you have the new Wakeboarding magizine it is the same move Byerly is pulling on page 71, but my tip is alot higher out of the water(a good 18" ). I can't get it at a 90 degree angle to the boat, but it is at least 70 degrees. I am doing it on my trusty Mutiny flat deck which proves you don't need a Gate to do blunts. What would you call what I am doing, a poser blunt? I wish I had a pic, but my buddy go a few on vid and I will try to put in up at the end of the year. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com

It could be called a bluntslide. In snowboarding it's called a butter. I know murray was doing these a few years back on a wakeboard, and they called it a bluntslide. I don't know
I like poser blunt |

Not hard to do but hard to make look right/good. My buddies can do it but it looks like crap, I lock my fin in so I get my tip way out of the water. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com |

so is it kinda like in surfing (i dont know surfing terms really at all) when they cut back in and go straight up and then come down? like say you were comming into the wake toeside do you somehow cut farther from the wake or something and point it, i dont get what you mean now, just get some video so we can see, mostly just me since no one else is talking on this thread _________________ P.S.... this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated |

im confused. get a pic or a video of it. sounds like your doing a surface 180 and you just weight it on the tail and it does a bluntslide in the middle of your 180. _________________ Centurion Boats |

If you do it like coming in to the wake from the outside, it would remind me of like a blunt stall on a half pipe in skating. _________________ death before dishonor.
