how are duece pops? do they ride good? are they kinda hard to break?

i love my deuce pop i got the 08 and it rides great. my friend has one also and his is a lil older 08 and neither of ours have shown any signs of breaking. great board in my opinion.

i had an 07' duece pop, and the top deck started warping after i rode it like 4 times...but the 08' are supposed to be more durable..

Made this post in a different thread about the Duece Pop.

itallpointsWEST, I'm sorry, but they were more than stress lines, more along the lines of cracks in the top plys on both ends of the board and around the hardware. I don't know whats up with the grip tape but it fell off after a few sets.
I rode the board maybe 5 times total, and I loved it. The only downside for me is I can't afford to buy new top decks, whether it was going to break or not, I can't take that chance Laughing. However, I did like the board. The concave, rocker and all that was great. It comes in a close second to the Cassette, but much better than the Devotid in my opinion.

I had one. I didnt like it. Other people rode it and they did. I dont know about the durability tho. I got rid of it as quick as possible.

lake weir ocala FL, anything before 08, in my opinion, was horrible, no offense to devotid, they've made so much improvement with their decks though

mr. Blond, there is nothin different about the 07 duece and 08 duece besides the graphic and the wood base was for the surf expo only. im good friends with the regional rep who also happens to be my team manager for multiple things. anyways i thought i should let yall know

If you have ever rode a Devotid before the 08's, dont judge them the same, only thing to just is craftmanship and Kevin for sure has got it dialed. He drove over a bi level in his truck and it didnt break if im correct.

Rode mine yesterday and it was awesome. Rode almost identical to the Cassette. Other than it being a compression bottom, having a slight molded rib, and having a tad more square tip and tail it was very identical as far as width and length. The top is almost identical in every regard. I was super pumped on it, solid ass ollies with a ton of pop. Now I can hit rails on a bi and not feel guilty of tearing up my Cassette's.
