Well, I want to thank everyone who entered on such a short notice. I like the fact all of you have some sort of feeling, either here or there, on the topic of these shoes and also the status of the spice girls.

That being said, TAD is the winner. The drawing was random, but for good measure his answer was: " I think the spice girls should get back together so Beckham will grow his hair out and can be in the newmusic video wearing an outfit made out of the UK flagdriving a replica car from Austin Powers."

I like that idea. On a semi-related note, does anyone watch the show "man vs wild?" It stars an outdoor expert named bear grylls and on one episode, (I think) he was in the rockies either near or in canada and he fell in the water to illustrate how to get out. At any rate, he's british and they showed him stripping down so he could get dry, and all of a sudden you see these boxers with the flag of Great britain slung over a stick. So classic!! So you know...it's related because of the flag bit.

it was so funny how it was edited because you just knew what was coming...that guy is amazing though. I can't believe how intelligent he is when it comes to the wild out-of-doors and all of the various regions and climates he's been dropped in the middle of. AMAZING!!!

I can't help but believe, on the inside, that being christened with a name like "bear" (and then having the last name "grylls") that he was destined to be a gnarly man, finding his way through and learning the ways of the uncivilized world. He knew he'd never tame the wild beast that is mother nature, but he could sure learn how to adapt and respect her...did I say AMAZING yet??? he's a wild man!!! I love that show!!! GAHHH!!!

Man stompin9s, now you've got me all wound up in an internet frenzy.

electricsnow, i love man vs. wild! bear is a nut. i just love when he catches snakes and fish and eats them alive.

oh my god, I forgot about his nutrition out in the wild...just catching grubbs and ants and gnarly stuff...and he just "tucks" right in to the raw fish and whatever else. but they all have vital nutrients and calories to sustain his energy level so he can get the h out of dodge.

It was pretty gnarly when he was practicing with his heavy stick, chucking it at things and then finally he threw it at a rabbit and killed it. They didn't show it, but they kept the audio grab of the "thunk" the wood hitting the rabbit made...it still haunts me in my dreams.

electricsnow, haha I just watched the rabbit one! The audio was priceless. I think in the beginning of that episode is when he got that little 18inch snake and bit the head off and ate the rest.

I don't see how you can drink water out of elephant poop.
