I have another towing question and i dont want to start a new thread so here it is.
Can you tow someone on a jet ski during the break in period? It doesnt say anything about it in the manual

| Hyperlite_06Byerly, i wouldnt. just go break it in like the manual says. it wont take that much time and will be well worth it.

The manual doesnt say not to tow poeple though. it just says we cant go over 5000 rpms until we run through a tank of gas. and at 5000 rpms we can get it up to 50

Hyperlite_06Byerly, when i bought my waverunner from the manufacturer , they specificaly said No pulling during the break in period. But.. i did it any way and it didint effect my waverunner at all. how ever i dont recomend it, becuase my waverunners a beast.
how ever, since ur waverunner doesnt have a hook in the way, u should
go for a pylon Pole, and put it in the place the hook should be.

you COULD get a V shaped rope and then tie your rope to that and clip the sides of the V to the clips on the side of your jetski, but i dont like that cuz it drags in the water and stuff. me and my buddy just tie the rope directly to that piece that runs across the top of the ski, right behind the seat. like where you grab onto. seems sketchy but it's actually not bad and we've been doing it for years (seriously)

hyfliteskate, dude ive got the same ski and i just loop the rope around the black handle on the back. sometimes ill put a towel around the handle first and then the rope around that. it works perfect and i have been doing that for years on it.
towing with that jetski is tricky though. its most stable when you have the bow trimed all the way down and go i think around 21-23 or what ever makes that wake nice.
one thing though the last cylinder on the engine just went so i had to replace it. i dont know if its due to towing on that or what, since its tuned for racing and not recreation.

Ive heard thats the most common problem, when the oil line comes off of the cylinder and it gets to hot and seizes the piston in the cylinder. i need to check mine to make sure that doesnt happen.
