I depends on how much you're willing to spend. Shipping will be a big thing i guess since you live in south africa. Some cheaper concaves you might want to check out are Oaks and Devotids. Oaks have a PBT base for added durability, and Devotids are strong as hell, i'm not even sure how they do it. The movement is their new concave and it's a 5 stage rocker so it has a unique pop to it. Some like it, some don't. I'm not sure about the cost of Sattelytes but they are also doing the PBT base for durability, as is Liquid Force. If money isn't a problem you might want to look at an Omen, which has a wood core and a blended 5 stage rocker. The wood core is surrounded by a DuraSurf base and a PBT top, it also has reshapeable rails. Another incredibly durable board using DuraSurf and core construction is Integrity. They use a unique 3 stage rocker (i forgot what they call it) and have pre-kicks that hold your feet into place with certain tricks of which this can be an advantage. They also have reshapeable rails. The Omen decks are $299, and the Integrity's are $249 i think? Good luck finding the right board for you, hope my post helps a little. _________________ - Evan Molina |
