gorath112, the 07 lf's dont even compare to last years, they are so much better its not even funny. im actually also trying to decide if i want to ride this new byerly or the new lf's for this year, so i'll definitely get back to you on how it rides.

If anyone is around the maryland area, I should have a Byerly demo in my shop next week. We just got the impulse 40, and the Armada 41. The impulse weighs even more than it did last year and it hs really sharp rails, Nice on the shins but I think the PBT should hold them together a little better,... I guess we can only hope. I'm pretty sure all the companys are using the same place for their bottoms, I know Oak and LF are, that's what the big hold up is. I think the Byerly will be worth waiting for though.

actually, there was a correction along the way stating that oak does not use the same mfg as LF and sattelyte. It's LF and sattelyte that are using the same mfg in canada.

at least, that's what i"ve been lead to believe.

wakemitch, scott a got to the bottom of that and I guess the 40s were produced elsewhere to keep up with demand. And yes, I hope the quality is the same for you as well. Again, jimmy took a lot of pride in the boards at the expo, so I'd be surprised if he'd let kyle walton's pro model go down the crapper...he'd be one dude who'd need a solid board, you know?

God bless that scott a! Hanest tah gahd!!

carterOG308, whatever shop scott works at received a few of them. I'm assuming other shops will be receiving theirs in good time...

I'd put money on the fact that the Waltons are gonna be every bit as durable as the rest of the Canadian made LF decks. I don't think ANYONE wants a repeat of what happened to last year's Impulses.

Bad Luck- did you pick up the board and feel it? They're considerably beefier.
