Sorry to bring up the whole sXe thing again... but for me... I was straight edge for a long time... I was not involved in anything... I had my reasons and that was fine... but the more I hung out with people that were sXe as well the more I found out that so many had never even giving anything a chance... that seemed a little fizzle up to me... and I understand that some people have good reasons for staying away from booze and drugs or what ever... but then I think about wakeskating and how much I love it... and how if I had of passed up the change to do then I would never have discovered something I love more then anything it the world...

I used to be a wakeboarder... and I had never skated, but I gave it a try and I have never looked back... I know of lots of wakeboards who don’t dig wakeskating cause they think its not a real sport or whatever... they try to get people to just wakeboard... and that’s super lame... just like its super lame to pressure people into trying things like booze or weed or anything... HOWEVER... it is equally lame for people to pressure others into NOT doing some things... especially when they have no experience with the things they have sworn to go without...

Life is all about choices, and at one point I chose to be straight edge... for the same reasons a lot of people do... they want to be in control of their mind, they don’t want their mind altered or whatever... but as I grew up I realized that I need to give everything a fair chance while I still can... having said that there are something’s I would stay away from... harder drugs and such that I just don’t want to be involved in... Anyway I started to smoke weed and drink and everything and it was fantastic... sure being in control is sweet and shizzle... but when I am high I am still in control... I just have a different perspective on the world... and I love that... because to me the world would get very cliché if I had to look at it the same way every single day... its the same reason I wakeskate... to see things differently...

Sorry if you actually read this, and sorry for basically giving my lame ass life story... but all I am trying to say is those of you who are sXe that’s tight... but just remember don’t hate on people from trying things out... and maybe seeing shizzle a little different... especially those of you who have never tried anything and still hate on, or hate on the people that do... (I’m not saying anyone on here... just people that I have met before...) anyway stick to what you believe in, not matter what it is... just be cool about it.

wakemitch, I meant i'm the same way, AND in college. I'm just sayin, it's difficult at first.

I'm just glad to hear there are more people out there like me, you don't find many at one of the top party schools in the nation.

i dont judge a person by if they drink, smoke, or do drugs. if they want to do those activities and it does not affect their personality or myself then i have no problem with it. i will admit to doing all of the three but it has never once affected my personality and anyone who wants to judge me differently for doing these activites is not anyone i want to be around in the first place.

Im not saying you should go smoke if you dont, just that a lot of your opinions might have been formed from the wrong info.

chrisd, Fa sho, NOONE has ever died from smoking weed. . . . .ever. The only reason I can think of that weed is still illegal is that the gov. can't tax it, being that it's so easy to grow.
