pontoon question....

complete newcomer here.....wakeboarder looking to try wakeskating to mix it up a little. i have heard you can wakeskate behind a pontoon...is this true? if so, what limitations and/or problems might i encounter?

Ya wakeskating is awsome because u can go behind anything, PWC, Pontoon Boat, Winch, etc.
Most wakeskaters just like doing tricks in the flats so a wake is not required Laughing

is the pontoon's slow acceleration going to ruin everything? or is it just something i will adapt to??

it shouldnt
ive seen tons of people ride behind pontoons,
for a beginner the slow speed wont matter that much

brobrah, Here are a few problems you might encounter.

(you have to read this in a ali-g voice)

1: 2 much sex, Girls will see you shredding behind the toon and they'll want in. this can gets this with a boat also, butt........ A pontoon can hold like 50 bytches and like 5 plasma screens, So even if you aint a mack daddy, youze got like 50 ho's that have to deny you. I meen even my friend nicky-t who looks like a complete minger could get some poony on a toony.

2: Youze wake might be to big, see you got all that room to load up kegs of beer and a couple pounds of mee finest morachine black. A keg must weigh like at leat 20lbs right?? And a pound of Morachine black or maui waui or whatever ize has at the time must weigh close to 2lbs how can you get wid of this problem ?? Easy, use styrofoam instead of Plastic cups and Papers instead of bongs. This will help the boat float even mooooo.

3: If youze got a toony, you probably going to be doing some sleeping on it. We'll lets say youze is sleeping on it and wham a hurricane hits..... You can just crawl underneaf it and hang out between the toons. o.k dat one doens't really work out but what eva

4: Concertes, You may not be able to skate alot cause lets say, like P-diddy heres about the toony, and your like Yo, my maine boys Nicky-t and Brandon-B is going to be here and diddy's like "whaat ?? Ize gots to be in on that" and well since its diddy youze is like, Of course youze is in. Its going to be hard to skate with the party rocking till 3 in the morning.

5: not really a problem more of a question. Iz you in or Iz you in ???

a good pontoon will get you up no problem... what sucks is waiting for it to get back to you and restart.... so i guess just don't fall Wink

brobrah, i have learned you can skate behind just about anything. I ride beind a 1970 mustang browning, with a 1974 evinrude 85 hp engine, all origional parts. any pontoon has more power to get you up than what i have. enjoi

It really depends on your size, but around 18-22
