what made u wanna wakeskate?

Bought my first wakeskate, a Liquid Force Sponge, 7 years ago, been riding ever since...

I've always liked all the possibilities on a wakeskate and where all it can be taken. I'd always get amped to ride but I could never really progress well, so I stuck to mainly wakeboarding because I could say I was good at it. This spring break I got the chance to ride with Nick and Stu for a day so I dropped the hyperlite scape and rode the integrity...I learned how to truly ollie on a wakeskate and do shuvs in 2 sets and had more fun on a wakeskate that day than can ever be had on a wakeboard or anything else for that matter....now I know I can never go back Laughing

I saw a picture of shuan murry riding his wakeboard without bindings wearing a pair of shoes. that was in 99. I tried it and loved it. when the cassettes came out I bought a 41, which I still have.
