Old dude here..............Started wakeboarding when I was 34, switched to skating at 36, and I'm 37 now.

I don't think I know any "serious" skaters; nobody in our regular crew is landing any shuv's or big spins. Of course we're all trying to progress, but we're mainly out there to have fun & blow off steam.

started wakeboarding at 14
started wakeskating at 17 when I cut the ends off of my old LF squirt (the first one that was red...came out in like 97), but never took it seriously or tried anything.
started seriously wakeskating at 21
now im 22, almost 23 Shocked

I am 34 now, and I started wakeskating last summer. I started getting serious about 2 months ago (or atleast trying seriously).

just curious but does anyone remember the liquid force sponge?
i think thats what its called. It was made out of foam almost like a boogie board. anyways just thought it was funny concept and im glad that board didnt hang around to long.

started at 22, now i'm 27. got serious about two years ago. i skate with a 38 year old, he just does surface spins and slides, but kills it strapping.

kyle, they actually patented that technology. though I've come to learn it's not exactly wakeskate technology....
