I think that the 3/8" thickness in the fiberglass should still apply for that tower, you might be able to get away with a steel/alum reinforment plate but since it's a newer boat it should have t ... |

Also monster towers says that if the fiberglass in the area of the install is less then 3/8" thick then you need to add reinforcment fiberglass in that area. Hope it helps, good luck with it!!
