hey ATXlakerat349, my doyle is a touch heavier than an 04 catalyst 116 but maybe a pound lighter than an 05 112 catalyst. Hope this helps.

Its not actually metal wire, its a 12 strand spectra. strength is 1200 lbs. Used it last night and it worked great. Did not notice any stretch on the dock start I did.
