nothing fancy but very easy to set up.
went to home depot and got everything then worked on it for maybe 2 hours.
It's not quite done yet. I still need to glue the tileboard on the wood and I'll be done, should be a fun rail!
here's a few pics of the 'almost' finished project:
Some will say it won't hold up. Last summer I had the same rail but PVC on top instead of tileboard and it worked just fine.
Let me know what you think! |

I'm going to cut two pieces of the tileboard and double layer it.
I'm not too good of a handy man so I'm not sure what you're talking about with the fiberon stuff, sorry=[ |

THATS SWEEEEEEEEETTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was thinkin about doin the same thing, except using cement filled tires that had a 1 foot pole stickin out it then just building somethin like that that would fit over longer poles. I really efed that explanation up but its basically what u where shootin for, no doubt that it would be sturdy though _________________ They call me Dr. Jones

mario c., i decided to use synthetic wood for the top instead of the tileboard but now i'm going to check out the fiberon when i go look at the synthetic wood and if it's around the same price i'll grab some.
i wasn't sure what to do about the surface since this was my first rail i built.
integrity640, thanks bro!
