Why George left?

Anybody know why he left hype?

I think he left because of Paul and Herb O'Brian leaving...that was the word around here from a "respectable source". There's a thread about it somewhere...

I know the reason i wouldve left is because of the skates. GB has a wider variety of skates that are built better and designed better. Thats probably why, i def dont think its because of the money.

I talked to him while at the projects and he said something about a little more money with more respect from his board sponsor as well as paul and herb leaving

I was talking to doyle in the summer, he was saying that he figured a few of the newer riders might leave hype, the reason gator is getting so huge now and gaining such a big team is because Hype, LF, obrien, all those companies are owned by one guy, Gator is owned by gator himself, no corporate guys at the top, just gator, and since hes got money, lots, hes able to pay the riders and get his boards manufactured in the states, unlike all the corporate companies whos owner is out to make cheap boards overseas and sell them for cheap, im not saying all the boards are done like that, I know a few of the guys who make the decks here, thats why guys are going to the smaller, independantly owned companies now. that's basically what doyle told me.
