Canadian Wakeskate only contest

Jeff Miller, owner of tractor wakeskates and I have been talking about getting together a wakeskate event in the calgary ALBERTA area next summer.... just bringing this info to the attention of the board because I know there are some albertains on this site and I want to know who and how many might attend....

not sure any details... that will depend on sponsors and money, im hopeing a boat, pvc/rail and possibly a pool rail comp...

we will see what happens...

Why don't you guys hold it at Sicamous at Mara lake.That's where all the Albertan's hang anyways Evil or Very Mad

If you're open for locations hold it on the S Thomphson R at riverside park in Kamloop's.Smoothest warm water in the province.BC that is.

tribal, ha... im sorry but I have to laugh at you for saying that.... first day at the hyperlite comp there we had to shut the comp down in th middle of the day because it was to tough, next day it was impossible to wakeskate because of how rough it was from others boats and the current...

anyway the point is to do it calgary because thats where miller is from... so

Well the 3 times I've been there a week at a time I've killed it.Only one day I've ever seen it blow out when there was a strong wing against the current.You would think they could close off that area of the river to other boats during a comp Rolling Eyes

My point is Calgary is gay,hold it in BC.Where do you think everyone from Calgary goes when they want to enjoy the water.

I forwarded the info on to the rest of the team. I want to come out to Calgary. I have not been there for a while.

My suggestion is this...... make it Rodeo themed. Everyone has to ride wearing a cowboy hat and chaps... That would be dope!!
