Idea for a new section

Dave,
Although it sounds like a large majority of people on this site have a skateboarding back, i think many of us come from an equally strong wakeboarding background. Since there's a section for skateboarding talk, why not a section for wakeboarding talk. I know there is wakeboarder.com, but that site is so cluttered with discussion, it would just be nice to see how a wakeboard only section developed here. I think it represents the other half of the wakeskate story and should to given equal credit with skateboarding.

Interesting idea. To be honest with you, it never even crossed my mind to have a wakeboarding forum. I guess that shows how much I think about wakeboarding.

What do you guys think about a wakeboarding forum? Everyone always says how they want wakeskating to be seperate....

That's kind of my point dave, I know it is separate from wakeboarding, but in the same realm its separate from skateboarding, and if anything, in my opinion, more closely related to wakeboarding cause of the rope, water, boat, etc. All I'm saying is it would be interesting to see where it went.

keep it seperate.

I wouldn't add it, being a parter site or wb.com kind of renders a wakeboard forum on this site useless, seeing as there is a well established wakeboard site just next door. I don't think it would see much action.

Dave dont add it wakeboarder.com already has one and they have a wakeskating too so thats fine dont have a wakeboarding poll nobody wants it this is a wakeskating.com!!!

i dunno i think that the otherboardsports area covers things pretty well on the wakeboarding spectrum. if u really have something about strappers post it there. skateboarding is our landlocked cousin and even if wakeskatin evolved from boarding the connection is not as clear. thats the main issue that i c come up on other sites, people want to post non associated sports on them. i'm a slalom skier but i would never consider posting things on that here. whats next kneeboarding or tubing? so my most daunting question is why Patrick Quinn, did not add a poll... Smash
