Is there anyone else who has ever had this problem. We got a letter from the water patrol yesterday sayin we need to get it off the lake... its bull but does any one know if anyting can be done... any help wanted |

Its illegal to use rails in most places and if its near or a part of ur dock then ud be riding to close to shore which is also illegal. sucks i no. fat sacs are illegal most of the time becasue they weigh more than your boat is suppose to hold. Unless its clear that ur boats about to sink, the cops shouldn't give you a hard time about it. |

anthwake, i had that same problem
especaily with the keys being such a Huge tourist spot for ppl
to bring there boats out created a huge problem,
but theres a spot down here a little in the mangroves
with 5 rails , and no ones ever gottan problems with them there
maby hide urs behind sum thing if possible?
or make it float so u can simply tow it back in? |

yea i ride saltwater and last time we built a freestanding 'cline out of a 1ft diameter pvc pipe with supports and just left it on skiiers island which is basically the saving grace for us when its windy cuz it blocks most of the chop but yea our cline got jacked after a few weeks and was used for firewood and we never saw the pvc again. were now in the process of rebuilding our floating flat bar. originally was an incline but when tide went down it caught on lip of dock and ripped off supports. damn saltwater |
