Just because it won't break in the exact same spot as the cassette bis do doesn't mean it won't break.

Hell, it probabaly won't pop either. They should just have made a heavy flat or concave 'cause that's about the only effect those two levels are gonna have; more weight.

headhunter, you must mean krown and not krooked, right? Very Happy

And quite frankly, I don't even know how anyone could defend that o'brien board. It's one thing to keep an open mind, and it's quite another to defend a deck that's nearly four feet long with (what look to be) seven inch kicktails. You all wakeskate, you know what works and what doesn't. What I want to know is, why is it that only canadians are defending that deck. There may be no other correlation...but it's odd. In the words of south park, "blame canada."

Just kidding, canada!

And gee, maybe it won't break because it will never make it to the water. at this point, the biggest threat to that deck is chad and his bullish frame. you know, "strong like bull."

Or ride it, see if I care. As others have so wittily remarked in previous posts "just make sure you tie a cement block to the deck before you go out."

yeah i meant krown

deepcove, we kno wat we like and wat we dont. thats the deal with core riders. imo if you are a company that does something like copy another companies deck and claim its theres, we will hate. i also feel if they took a rider in and built up there boards with a rider, we could respect that more, cause then we know they care about us as riders and not kids who buy boards.

obrien doesnt even have an effing concave skate out. they have no riders on there team. they make wakeboards! u can tell by wat they did to shapiro that they dont give a flick bout riders, only buyers, and ironicly they go hand and hand

Pete Caruso!, kyle waltons trailor mate? than yeah. how do u know him?

headhuntermx4

I am not defending these guys, I just find it interesting that every time a non rider owned co. comes out with a product it gets beat up.

I could give you feed back on an Integrity team, 484 concave, LF WUD44, HL Scape or a Cassette Bilevel. Why? Cuase I have personally ridden all of these skates and I know what I like and dislike about each one.

I could also look at the picture of the Obrien Bi and tell you imo it would ride like crap. However, without having actually ridden one I have no way of giving acurate feedback.

I don't know what you consider a "core" rider but I can tell you I wakeskate pretty much daily as I have my boat moored 3 mins from my home. I also took two 1st and a 2nd place in local comps this year (does that make me core or just gay?)
Rolling Eyes
I think it's great that there are a bunch of guys supporting rider owned but you gotta remember that weather a company is ridered owned or otherwise they are all in it for the same reason....and I am sure that the $250.00 I spent on an Integrity was not just to cover cost's involved in making it. I am just happy to say I purchased something that was not made in China. Wink

Devotid, krooked is actually a skateboard company that was started up by the legendary gonz. I have no idea how much of it he owns...but i'm krooked for life...or until mark leaves. Very Happy

anybody who actually understands the concept of how a bi lev shoudl work can look at that and with almost 100 percent certainty laugh at it. . . .now I personally cant say Im a big bi lev fan. . .but I cant say anything really bad about the cassette bilev except that its not durable. . so it would seem to me that if a company wanted to make a killing they would make a more rugged bilev and cash in if that was there intention as we all kno wObriens policy is. . .but they failed they actually found a way to make the bilev design less durable. . . hahahahah re-fvcking-diculous how can you make a board that breaks BEFORE it hits the water christ almighty people ask how other people can rag on it if they havent ridden it. . I ask. . how can you not rag on it, I mean. . . . I dont have to rub myself with a terd to know its shizzle I can look at it and point and say thats shizzle based on past experiences with shizzle and that my friends is double decker shizzle right thurrrr Smash

EDIT: and nobody need call me a memebr of the ROC gestapo. . I own 2 hype bords I have kept an open mind. . now I keep an Omen in mind POOP

wakemitch, cassete doesn't have a patent.

i would love to argue with deepcove, about how its retarded to say that there all in it for the money cause if you knew anything about what really goes on you'd understand that there is no money.
