electricsnow, you think you got it all figured out. when it comes to numbers, Cassette has deep pockets. Integity started with less than 20K. If you forgot Schmaltz and Horrell go way back. I dont really think that there much differnt.

That's not true ride5. Quite frankly, I'll always keep my ears to the ground to learn something new. I've learned a lot from some really excellent people that way.

I will say that cassette has investors and they're more established (yes, at one point in time thomas was selling wakeskates through the internet as well). However, I don't think it's just about numbers (thi$ kind of number$$$) when it comes down to why they won. I'm not even going to go any further.

And yes, erich and thomas do go way back. And from what I can see (meaning it's my opinion based on my own observations) those two may have started down the same path when it comes to board design, but their current ideas with board designs don't seem to intersect THAT much. You've said yourself that those two decks are completely different, like the integrity being something like a "finely tuned machine". That's not to say that one ideology is worse than the other--that's not what i"m saying at all. I just think that they're looking to do different things when it comes to wakeskate design. It should be obvious after looking at the materials and the whole stink about "wood and water don't mix."

Seniorbueno, after watching volume I was under the impression that thomas' deck and reed's deck had two different flexes. Like, nekkie now has the thomas deck and he said it's completely different, but maybe that's just due to the length (and not at all due to the flex). Either way, it made me think twice after reading everyone else's interpretation. I thought it would have been really cool if those two decks did have different flexes.

electricsnow,

I'm pretty sure this was pre production. I think all the decks have the same flex now...

You mean like the different flexes and the riders testing out the prototypes? You're probably right on that. It would seem that for the sake of consistency for the public, all of the decks would have the same flex. Anyway, don't listen to me.

I have ridden the 3 bi-levels and they are very different. The Thomas is obviously smaller and stiffer while reed's a lot smoother on the nose n tails (My favorite) and Danny's one is so stiff, the space between the decks at both ends is at least 3 to 4 inches.

Schmaltz is temporarliy living with him, he has been around since the mutiny days and has some $$$ invested. I would say that he knows more than esnow and most people out there.
