2004 Jobe skate is sweet it looks like a wood hyperlite but i like it better than the plastic hyperlites take a look at it at wakeworld.com on the surf expo pics

I've seen pictures of the 2004 jobe skates, they have one compression molded too, a bit like al "gate" lookalike, hmmmm Confused

jobe is a division ho sport's, the same company that makes hyperlite. ever looked at some of the jobe bindings

Paul Obrien or Herb i forget has jobe and hyperlite there all owned by the same ppl and there made in the same factory. 484 and cassette arn't made in the same factory or owned buy the same ppl thats y ppl rag on 484 but personaly i dont care Confused

Jobe used to be somewhat of a cool company before they became part of the great white hype. They had Jason Elmore and were endorsed by Bill Clinton.

Right on. My post was pretty much a joke anyway. But, are you saying that Jobe was always owned by Hype? I thought they were there own company years back.

jobe n hyperlite have been owned by ho 4 a while now, more then a year or 2, not sure how long but im pretty sure it was a while, i no it goes back as long as jerry nunn was ridin 4 em

Well... They aren't really owned by HO. They are a division of them, but they are owned by Kent Sporting Goods.
