Me and a few friends had a go with a kneeboard a few days ago and now have a question for any cable kneeboard experts ?

What we would like to know - Is it possible to get big air when using a kneeboard on the cable to do rolls, flips and raleys etc.

If so, could someone post the basics on how to...
Is it like an ollie where you create your own pop for the trick you want to do by bouncing the board ?
Load the line so you just get pulled off the water ?
or do you need to use a kicker ?

mx5alan, i think the easiest way to go would to just cut at a kicker as hard as you can, im sure that will get you plenty of air.

Shocked I thought they floated.... Wink Razz

Was first time we had tried them...
We normally use a wakeskate or wakeboard/kiteboard underneath a 13 to 18m² Kitesurfing kites.

I would have thought it would have been similar to a skate as there are no foot bindings.

So how would you go about doing a roll with a wakeskate from the flats or cable. Squat down grab the board, bounce the board to create the pop for the rotation.

couple weeks ago i saw someone at owc who was mostly wakeboarding, pull out a kneeboard and rip it up on the rails. he hit the rail, 720ed the picnic table, did a roll off the cheese wedge, and hit the camo. he also ollied the barrel. it was pretty sick to see it.

yea you can hit flatbars on a tube. come strait at it and just yank up.but the low ones are too easy. try one at least knee high.

Um, men don't belong on their knees, so unless you are standing and wakeskating with it, get the f*ck out.
