i tryed my first kickflips this weekend and i didnt do as good as i thought i was. i could only flip it half way around and it either went only halfway and to far out or halfway and nosedived (hurt like a b). one time my foot totally missed the board and it didnt flip at all. i sped the boat up to 22 to get more pop but im still not gettin enough, and if i go any faster i cant keep my balance in the kickflip position. any help appreciated

i would get a good rhythm done for the start of the trick and dont get discouraged, but work on the ollies everywhere, insideout, flats, over stuff. i think when you get that board control down your set.

JamesBoardr, HatzicScape112, i can do em flat, over stuff, hs, and ts but not inside out, i just keep slipping out right when i hit the wake.gate-rider, im balanced at 22 but any faster i dont have the balance to start the ollie. im flicking it like a skateboard but i dont get any height on em so they just hit the water. i think i got the flick motion and rhthym i just need more pop and airtime.

I came so close today I actually landed and was riding for a second or two before I fell. I have a photo shoot for a local wake shop on Friday for their commercial so I'm getting pumped. I want one soooooooo bad.
22mph seems a bit intimidating, try them at 18 and everything happens a little slower. I was nosediving a lot also, you really got to get your nose up before you flick it so it stays on axis at like a 45 degrees angle.
Good luck!
