I went up for Mammoth's opening weekend a couple of weeks ago. Pretty fun but obviously a lot better once the whole mountain is open. Can't wait for it to dump some more! Parky you guys got lucky with that storm and hopefully you'll get plenty more. Do you ride Whistler?

I'll be in Switzerland in three weeks. It will be the first time I'll have seen snow in five years.

I went up to Whistler last spring break; it made me mad because they have all these ski resorts and concrete skateparks out west, and in Alabama there are no real mountains or concrete parks anywhere to be found, EVER.

I have 4 days in so far, and hopefully will get another 10 days in over the holidays since Mammoth is getting lots of snow right now. Not quite as good as last year when they got 12 feet of snow in 2 weeks in December though.

Man I just got back from VT it was insane. 26" of fresh snow in two nights, Jay Peak got 80" in seven days, its 100% open. There was like five feet in the woods, we made fresh lines every time down both days Shocked

It's dumping up in Mammoth and I'm on my way up now. They have 8" so far and the forecast is 3 - 4 feet, plus more over the weekend and into next week. Powder days yaaahoooooo!
